CAMEO is an opportunity for older people to 'Come And Meet Each Other.' They gather on the second Thursday of each month at 3pm,in the Priory Room, Hurley, for tea and cake to share friendship and enjoy each other's company. If you would like transport please contact Fiona Fieldhouse on 01628 824574. Forthcoming dates:February 9


Do you enjoy knitting, crochet or sewing with friends? Do go along to 'Knit and Natter' at the Soltau Centre and have a cuppa and a biscuit - they love to welcome new members. They meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month

from 2-4pm. Forthcoming dates: January 24


These small groups give you the opportunity to explore the Christian faith and make friends as well! Groups meet fortnightly in term time. There is a group which has a musical bias, a lunchtime

group and an evening group for families with young children. For further information please contact Keith or Tina. If you are a member already, contact your group leader for autumn term dates.


Explorers and Adventurers children's groups meet during the Hurley Communion Together Service. They join the service in the church before breaking into their groups.


Each church in the Parish provides informal services for all the family. Dates from September are:

Hurley: Family Service is at 10.30am,

normally on the third Sunday of the month, but in September it is on the fourth Sunday.

Littlewick Green:All-Age Worship is normally at 4pm on the third Sunday of the month, but in September is on the fourth Sunday.

Stubbings: Family Service is at 10.30am

on the fourth Sunday of the month.


Stubbings' gardening group members invite you to spend time with them in Stubbings' garden and churchyard on Wednesday mornings. If you can spare a couple of hours regularly or only join

them occasionally, your help to cherish the garden will be warmly received by them and the snowdrops, daffodils, flowering shrubs and woodland plants. For details contact Tony Ruffell on 01628 626149.


Come and join a country walk once a month, come rain or shine. Walks are carefully chosen to include a welcoming pub for refreshment! You'll have a very warm welcome from this friendly group. Watch the weekly Notice Sheet or Parish

website for details. These walks are taking a break until the Spring.


Pebble consists of a short service and playgroup. There is a Pebbles at 10.30am on Tuesdays in the Sollau Centre and on Thursdays in the Priory Room.


Oasis is a chance to create space to unwind and let the silence in, making participants ready for God to come and help in the many areas of life which cry out for his help. They bring before God

their own lives, those in the Parish who particularly need God's touch and they pray for the wider world. Meetings are in the Priory Room, Hurley,at 2.30pm on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Forthcoming dates: January 17


Older members of all three churches are tempted by the delicious home-cooked lunches served by Margaret Burton and her helpers at 12.30pm on alternate Wednesdays in the Soltau Centre. Do

come and make this a regular date and enjoy a friendly chat. At 11.30am there is a quiet communion service in church for those who wish to attend. Forthcoming dates: February 8
